Once settled, the first move seems obvious: Siopa.
The local beer is Babel, I try a Blonde and feel very satisfied.
Next stop is the newly open and currently free, much hyped Orchidarium. Unfortunately there is not an orchid in sight, but it is a relaxing setting with flowing water. 'The flowers are very young' I tell the attendant. This is partly for diplomatic purposes but also because I do not know the Spanish for 'in bloom'. She knows what I mean and informs me they arrive in 10 days. Oh well.
There is nothing else for it! Back I go to sample an Anchor Steam Beer, from brewery of same name in San Francisco, USA. I am a sucker for American beers since the visit to NYC in the summer.
Suddenly it is time for El Puesto del Sol.
