The bus station is a damp squibb, literally. Because it's Sunday it is all shut up, loo included. The rain sqawls under the so called shelter. I make friends with a Moroccan man of 73 going on 50 living in Chiclana, then rush off to have coffee in a bar full of large, vaguely threatening dogs with nice owners. The bus turns out to be very comfy. Thanks Avanza. I now have a Mexican chica to talk to and fill her in on Cadiz, as she has never been before.
The journey starts off in cloud and rain, but I get an impression of the coast and sea. Fond memories of family holidays in Anglesey!
The sustainable energy generation is far more impressive than the weather!
Vejer, from the distance. I make a note to visit this hill top town.
The weather improves for my arrival!
Conil is seen in the distance, a must see coastal village.
And Cadiz appears on the horizon!
It feels good to be home. I head straight to La Caleta beach and swim. Amazingly the water feels warmer than in Tarifa and Estepona. I am told it is due to slightly lower air temps. I am not convinced.
